Eligibility
-Minimal 16 years of age
-At least 8th grade of schooling
-Able to read and understand 5th grade level English
-No criminal record
Requirement
The following item are due first (1st) week of class:
-Physical examination with PPD Skin test
-Live scan finger printing (for criminal background/conviction clearance)
-ARC, CEP State fee $90
Admission Requirement
Enrollment / registration starts 2 weeks before classes begin.

Overview of the proposed programs
All classes will be taught on the Hayward campus located at 2505 Technology Drive, Hayward, California. Classrooms will be used for instructions and are equipped with overhead projectors, DVD players, TV sets & monitors, video tapes recorder & player. A skills lab with A massage therapy clinic with massage chairs and tables, massage oils, lotions and creams, towels, stones and heating device are provided.

Medical Assisting: Office Administration

Occupational Work Experience in Medical Assisting
Courses cover anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as keyboarding, transcription, recordkeeping, accounting, and insurance processing. Students learn laboratory techniques, clinical and diagnostic procedures, pharmaceutical principles, the administration of medications, and first aid. They study office practices, patient relations, medical law, and ethics.

Program A prepares students for basic certification as Certified Massage Practitioner (CMP) in the State of California.

Program B is an advanced level in Massage Therapy which, when completed along with program A, prepares students for certification in California as Certified Massage Therapist (CMT).
